TIP
: If you are looking for a particular given name or surname, hold down the "Ctrl" key and hit the "F" key while viewing any of the pages. Then type in the name you are looking for.

The main focus of this site is the descendants of Caleb M. Whiting, a great-grandson of Nathaniel Whiting, who left England for the colonies around 1636, and Hannah (Dwight) Whiting. I have much, much more information on the generations between Nathaniel and Caleb, but chose to present just the more current generations. Because of privacy issues and concerns, I did not include information on living persons; I listed names only for entire generations with any living persons.

Many of my sources are secondary, so use the information with caution. Some sources I have verified the best I could, others I used “as is.” At least it can serve as a guide, and hopefully be a good tool, in further research. I welcome any comments on what is presented on these pages, and corrections are always appreciated.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know who, or what, my source was. My intention is to help others who are researching their family history and genealogy.

Contributions are always welcome. Please contact me if you have something for this website (obituary, biography, picture, etc.) or if you have any questions or comments. In any case, I'd like to hear from you!
